It is widely recognized as a more flexible, lighter, and compact alternative to the standard 2SN hose, specifically designed for medium-to-high pressure hydraulic lines where installation space is constrained.

Inner Tube: Black, oil-resistant synthetic rubber (typically Nitrile/NBR), compatible with petroleum-based and water-based fluids.
Reinforcement: Two layers (braids) of high-tensile steel wire.
Cover: Black synthetic rubber, resistant to oil, abrasion, weather, and ozone (often MSHA-approved for flame resistance).
